We are always happy to see new faces in the neighborhood. On this page you will find some things to help you learn more about the neighborhood and the community and to help you get established. If you have questions which are not addressed on this site feel free to reach out to one of the Millcreek HOA board members. Their information is listed on the first page of this site.​

 

Utilities:

 

Electricity is provided by ENTERGY (1-800-ENTERGY) or entergy.com Their website is fairly easy to navigate and you can get new service set up in 10-15 minutes depending on your keyboard and internet skill level.​

 

Gas is provided by Centerpoint Energy.​

Internet/cable is available from AT&T, COMCAST, or CSPIRE.

Schools:

Northwest Rankin Public Schools
The Northwest Rankin campus is home to elementary, middle and high schools. These schools are located on Hwy 25 (Lakeland Dr) one to two miles east of the Lakeland Millcreek entrance.

While the school campuses are physically separate, they are all in the same general area and all are accessible from Lakeland Dr.​There are also several private and/or religious schools in the area:

Hartfield Academy
Located on Lakeland Drive in Flowood, roughly three miles west of the Lakeland Millcreek entrance.

Jackson Academy
Located in Jackson on Ridgewood Rd. roughly 5 miles north of Lakeland Dr.

Jackson Prep
Located in Jackson on Lakeland Drive, roughly 6 miles west of the Lakeland Millcreek entrance.​

Taxes and Car Tags:

Current property taxes and car tags may be paid for at the Rankin County Tax Collector office on Lakeland Drive, roughly one mile west of the Lakeland Millcreek entrance. Other county business generally requires a trip to the Rankin County Courthouse Annex, located on Hwy 80 in downtown Brandon.​​ ​
